PARTICIPATION INFORMATION
Please note that registration for ASP 2026 cannot be completed independently. All applications must be coordinated through an official ASP representative at your participating home university.
How to register for ASP 2026?
1. Select Category: Visit our Registration page and select your status: UniMAP Student, Malaysian Student (Non-UniMAP), or International Student.
2. Submit Application: Complete the online application form with your details.
3. Review Period: Your application will be reviewed by the committee after the registration window closes.
4. Invoicing: Once confirmed, an invoice will be sent directly to your university's International Office Coordinator.
5. Payment: Complete the payment and send the receipt to your International Office Coordinator.
6. Letter of Acceptance: Upon confirmation of payment, you will receive your official Letter of Acceptance (LoA).
VISA Information
- Countries Not Requiring Visa: Citizens of most Asian countries (e.g., ASEAN nations, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, UAE, etc.) are eligible for a short-term Social Visit Pass.
- Countries Requiring Visa: Citizens from South Asia (India, Pakistan, etc.), East Asia (China, North Korea), and specific West Asian/other nations must obtain a visa before arrival.
- How to Apply: You may apply via official Malaysian Missions (Embassy/High Commission) or through the eVisa System where available. Apply at least 4–6 weeks before your travel date.
Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC)
Mandatory Requirement: Effective 1 January 2024, all foreign citizens must complete the MDAC within three (3) days prior to arrival in Malaysia.
Exemptions: Singapore Citizens, Diplomatic Passport holders, and Malaysian Permanent Residents. Brunei Darussalam GCI holders, Brunei-Malaysia Frequent Traveller Facility Holders, Thailand Border Pass Holders, and Indonesia Cross Border Travel Document (PLB) Holders.
